the family of Augusta Corson Metcalfe made their homestead in present day Roger Mills County, Oklahoma in the year 1893. This land, now called Break O' Day Farm also houses the Metcalfe Museum. Both the homestead and art museum offer many attractions to not only those interested in the nationally acclaimed artist but also to those who value the lifestyle of yesteryear. You will find Break O' Day Farm and Metcalfe Museum nestled in the  trees of the Washita River Valley located in the western part of Oklahoma.
